Geology
Description
Sandstone, massive to thickly bedded, unfossiliferous, quartz lithic arenite with abundant large scale cross-bedding and parallel lamination and some interbedded mudstone. Derived from orogenic complex to north and from metamorphic basement and felsic magmatic arc to south.
Stratigraphic Relationship
Conformable on Kantu Formation beneath Ketungan Formation, in fault contact with Semitau Complex, intruded by Sintang Intrusion. Correlated with Dangkan Sandstone.
