Indonesia’s 2025 Mineral and Coal Resources and Reserves

The publication Indonesia’s 2025 Mineral and Coal Resources and Reserves presents national data on mineral and coal resources, reserves, and production as of December 31, 2024. Prepared by the Geological Agency in accordance with Ministerial Regulation of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 14 of 2022, Indonesian National Standards (SNI), and applicable regulatory frameworks, the publication aims to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and comprehensiveness of national resources and reserves information. The data serve as a reference for formulating strategic policies and development plans concerning the management, utilization, and development of mineral and coal resources, as well as supporting recommendations for regional planning, mining environmental management, and national and local land-use strategies. Through this publication, the Geological Agency seeks to strengthen the availability and quality of geological information to support policymakers, industry professionals, researchers, and other stakeholders in the sustainable management and development of Indonesia’s mineral and coal resources.
