Bali, Indonesia, dengan kaldera yang berbentuk baik dan besar yang pembentukannya berkolerasi dengan erupsi ignimbrit lk. 23.700 tahun yang lalu. Studi kami tentang stratigrafi dan geokimia gunungapi G. Batur mempelihatkan pembentukan kaldera ditandai oleh perubahan komposisi material erupsi basaltik dan andesitik sampai dasitik.
