Lahar hujan G.Gamalama telah terjadi pada 9 dan 27 Agustus 1983 telah mengakibatkan rusaknya hutan/kebun rakyat serta beberapa rumah di Desa Takome. Jalannya lahar hujan sampai saat ini sebagian besar mengalir dan melanda ke jurusan yang pernah dilalui dalam tahun 1562. Letusan 1983 hingga ini tidak menimbulkan korban manusia.
