Short report on the geology of LIGI area

Follow-up geological work in Ligi was based on the above date focussed attention on Ligi Stream and its tributaries. were started on February 12 and lasted to Harch 26, 1974. In the the theodolite survey has been conducted from Harch 21.until April 7, 1974. This area is entirely covered by dense tropical forest and the relief is high with elevations ranging from 50 to 550m. The central part where the main activity was located generally formed a very steep topographic slope .The geology of Ligi zone c ont.rast s markedly with that of the old volcanic region to the north and young volcanic to the Bone basin. • Intrusi.ve rocks» consist
