State council of economics of the ussr state institute for iron and steel works

The general agreement on economical and technical cooperation between the Goverment of the USSR and the goverment of the Republic of Indonesia, dated September 15, 1956 and the protocol, dated January 3, 1959, provide for cooperation of the Soviet and Indonesian organizations for the construction in the Republic of Indonesia of two steel plants, 50.000 ton ingots annual capacity each.
Under the above, the Soviet organusations shall render the following technical assistance: surveying and designing work, supplies of machinery, equipment and materials, consultation and technical supervision of construction and erection work, commissioning of the enterprices, training of the personel, etc.
