Within the framework of the Institute for Transfer of Indutrial Technology (ITIT) Project, the Geological Survey of Indonesia (GSI) has ordered me as a research fellow in conducting a processing of the Java, Madura, and Bali gravity data Japan. My stay in This country was scheduled for 45 days departing from Indonesia at the 28th of January 1974. During this period most of the time. I worked with earth scientist of the Geological Surveu of Japan (GSJ). In the interpretation of the final gravity results, consultations have been made to other scientists outside those of GSJ, namely to professors Yoshibumi Tomoda of the Ocean Research Institute Kyoto University Izuo Ozawa of the Geophysical Institute Kyoto University, Kazuo Huzita of osaka city university, Masami Hayakawa of the Tokai University, and Dr. Ktzuro Ogawa of Technology research Center.
