The Debris Flows or Ladu's of the Merapi, Central Java In 1930
The wedusgenbels originated because big amounts of gas-rich, but toughliquid magna were ejected, came down along the volcano slope and landed in the very deep ravines, which are situated in the mountain foot on ca. 1400 na.s. Due to their great mobility they have still covered considerable distances in the terrain gullion. It is striking through which sharp turns (portrait 7, 8 and 10), particularly of the Jurangjero the ladu has dragged. From this the loose composition clearly appears, which the heavy part of the wedungenbel should have had during the forewards moving. The outer edges of the turns e.q. on the Blongkong edge on the opposite of the previous observatory post Maron were then many times covered by stone accumulations.
