The type of eruption of the Batur Volcano is a typical phenomenon for volcanoos which is starting renewed activity with new foamed, like saltic lava after having experience caldera forming. The notivity in 1963 started in teh morning of September 5 and was proceeded by the short frequent and recurret feeble erarth-quake tromore and shooks folt by the inhabitants of Kintamani a village situated of the Western terace of the upper onaldern rim.
