Petrographic and Pollen Analytical Examinations of Indonesia Coal Samples

In the course of the 1956/57 Wedexro investigations of the Indonesian coals a petrographic examination has already been carried out. Also the coal samples taken in 1958 in Kalimantan have been subjected by the Geological Office of Land North-Rhine/Westphalia of the Federal Republic of Germany to petrographic and pollen analytical examinations. These examinations were designed to check whether the coal samples agreed with the 1956/57 coal samples from Pulau Laut and Pulau Sebuku and, secondly, to make a comparison with the coals from the Mahakam District.
