Branti/Lampung Quartz Sand Beneficiation
The Purpose of this work was to explore the simple benefication procces for Branti/Lampung quartz sand utilization. The effect of scurrbing/attrition was determind on the surface coating of organics and clay removal from the sand grains. The experimental results indicated that scrubbing/atrition followed by washing,desliming, and classifying.Steps could raise the SiO2 contents and removed the iron-titanium oxides and clay materials from the sand graind surface.
