A Guide to rare metals and rare earth metals in Indonesia

In order to delineate areas of prospective for REE mineralizations in Indonesia, the geological setting of the parts of Indonesia were checked agains the REE mineralization models explained above, taking into consideration the results of former prospecting and explorations.The main prospective areas of Indonesia are those which on one hand conatin granitoid instrusions and on the other hand contain alluvial of beach placers in which the resistant minerals from weathering of these rocks have been concentrated.
