The Tidal Waves During Rokatenda Volcano Eruption Paluweh Island In 1928
The outburst of Rokatenda volcano, Paluweh Island, E. Nusa Tenggara in 1918 vas accompannied by tidal waves, which were actually the cause of the big disaster, which hit the population of Paluweh Island. Shortly after the huge explosions they must occur and this was three times which folloved each other with interruptions of 15-20 minutes. The Inhabitants, anxious for the glowing products who fled to the shore, here wretchedly perished in more than 5 high tidel waves. The lost of manlife caused by this was about 160.
