The Role Of The Foreign Investor In The Indonesian Coal Mining Industry

A problem facing the management of the operation of foreign investment in the Indonesia mining sector is the lack of tools for a detailed evaluation of the influence of foreign capital. In particular, the economic consequences of the coal contractors' mine operations need to be studied. The research presented is intended to provide a model for economic evaluation of technology transfer and foreign capital investment climate in the Indonesian coal mining industry. The approach has been applied to an individual mine although it could be used widely throughout the coal industry.
