Electrification Of The Railroads With Coal And Its Role In The Indonesia Integrated Transportation System

The subject of coal has become quite popular .and so,it would seem ,has become investment in related facilities ,judging by the number of mines,distribution systems ,and coal-fired power plants recently brought on-stream around the world.as indonesia joins this movement ,it is well to keep in mind that the development of coal is not a goal in itself.in view of the vaset resources required for coal's development,it must be shown that an investment in coal can utimately be transformed into national economic development.the process of this transformation is the subject of this paper.
