West Nusa Tenggara Geotourism

West Nusa Tenggara Province are two interaction of two megaplates which collision each other, with the result has a geological condition to be developed as "a geotourism" is one form alternative tourism. That's be in accordance to support "Visit Lombok Sumbawa 2012".

Geotourism that form tourism special interest linkage to geology, beside to explore natural resources as geomorphologu, rocks, geological structure, earth historical, and also mining activity.

The main purpose of geotourism development as new paradigm in Indonesia, can be devided into two programs: firstly as short term to support Visit Lombok Sumbawa 2012; and secondly as long term to realizing West Nusa Tenggara as one of 'world class geotourism destination' and also support environmental conservation and community development.
