The Dusun Intrusive complex, which lies about 40 KM south east of lake Tawar in a remote part of Aceh Tengah, has been the suvject of a mineral investigations programme.Previous investigations in this area have revealled the presence of chalcopyrite,galena,sphalerite and molybdenite, with indications of both pophyty-style and vein mineralisation. The present investigation which was designed to furhther define confirmed the general nature of the mineralisation.Highly mineralised float samples were collected from the upper reaches of Kr. Dusun, but have not yet been found to outcrop over a wider area than the oroginal photogeological interpretations suggested
