Report Of Aeromagnetic Survey Of South-Eastern Kalimantan Scale 1:200.000
The result of aeromagnetic survey at a scale of 1:200.000 carried out on the South-Eastern Kalimantan in 1963-1964 are described in this report.
The work was carried out by soviet experts in compience with contract No. 383 signed by the representatives of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics on the one hand and by those of the Republic of Indonesia on the other hand.
The surveyed area amounts to about 54.000 square kilometers. Result of work are the valuable materials for more through studying on the region geological struoture as well as for outlining more interesting areas for prospecting iron are deposits.
Concrete recommendation are given for futher geologic-geophysical prospecting investigations.
The structural-geological scheme of thwe surveyed area is complide,based on the result of geological interpretation of the magnetic data obtained. The main structuras of the area are marked on the scheme.
The report is supplied by large quantity of plate supplements, figures and photographs.
