Bandung, June 19, 2025—The Inspector General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Bambang Suswantono, conducted a working visit to the Center for Mineral, Coal, and Geothermal Resources (PSDMBP) under the Geological Agency, located at Jalan Soekarno-Hatta No. 444, Bandung, on Thursday (6/19). During the visit, the Inspector General was accompanied by Inspector II Alimuddin Baso and Inspector III La Ode Tarfin Jaya. The delegation was welcomed by the Head of PSDMBP, Agung Pribadi, along with members of the PSDMBP work team. Also in attendance was the Head of the Geological Survey Center, Edy Slameto.

The visit took place in the Korundum Meeting Room, A.F. Lasut X Building, 2nd Floor, where the Head of PSDMBP delivered a presentation outlining the institution’s profile, as well as its duties and functions based on the newly enacted Ministerial Regulation No. 12 of 2025. The presentation also highlighted strategic issues and the role PSDMBP plays in providing data on mineral, coal, and geothermal resources to support the downstream development of domestic industries and the advancement of clean energy initiatives. In addition, the Head of PSDMBP addressed the impact of budget cuts due to the government’s efficiency policy, which is expected to affect the institution’s performance targets in 2025. The Inspector General attentively followed the presentation and offered several responses and insights regarding the strategic contributions that PSDMBP can make in advancing the ministry’s agenda.

The visit continued with a town hall meeting with all PSDMBP staff in the Aurum Room, Building D, 4th Floor. In his address, the Inspector General encouraged all employees to continue improving their performance and professionalism in carrying out PSDMBP’s strategic mission.

Inspektur Jenderal ESDM Kunjungi PSDMBP

Bandung, 19 Juni 2025—Inspektur Jenderal Kementerian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM), Bambang Suswantono, melakukan kunjungan kerja ke Pusat Sumber Daya Mineral, Batubara, dan Panas Bumi (PSDMBP), Badan Geologi, di Jalan Soekarno-Hatta No. 444, Bandung, Kamis (19/6). Dalam kunjungan tersebut, Inspektur Jenderal ESDM didampingi oleh Inspektur II Alimuddin Baso dan Inspektur III La Ode Tarfin Jaya. Rombongan diterima oleh Kepala PSDMBP, Agung Pribadi, bersama jajaran tim kerja PSDMBP. Hadir pula Kepala Pusat Survei Geologi, Edy Slameto.

Bertempat di Ruang Rapat Korundum, Gd. A.F. Lasut X, Lantai 2, Kepala PSDMBP memaparkan profil dan tugas-fungsi institusi berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri ESDM Nomor 12 Tahun 2025. Hal-hal lain yang disoroti oleh Kepala PSDMBP adalah isu-isu strategis serta kontribusi PSDMBP dalam penyediaan data sumber daya mineral, batubara, dan panas bumi untuk mendukung hilirisasi industri dalam negeri serta pengembangan energi bersih. Selain itu, Kepala PSDMBP menyampaikan terkait dengan anggaran yang terkena kebijakan efisiensi sehingga mempengaruhi pencapaian kinerja PSDMBP untuk tahun 2025. Inspektur Jenderal ESDM menyimak dengan antusias dan memberikan sejumlah tanggapan atas peran strategis yang dapat dijalankan PSDMBP dalam mendukung agenda Kementerian ESDM.

Agenda dilanjutkan dengan pertemuan bersama seluruh pegawai PSDMBP di Ruang Aurum, Gedung D, Lantai 4. Dalam sambutannya, Inspektur Jenderal ESDM memberikan semangat dan dorongan kepada seluruh pegawai agar terus meningkatkan kinerja dan profesionalisme dalam menjalankan peran strategis PSDMBP.
