Bandung – The Center for Mineral, Coal, and Geothermal Resources (PSDMBP) received a working visit from representatives of PT Perusahaan Mineral Nasional (Persero), also known as PT PERMINAS, on Thursday (02/04).

The meeting focused on exchanging technical information regarding testing methodologies and the standardization of laboratory equipment used in mineral content analysis. 

During the visit, representatives from PT PERMINAS' Operations & Production and Technology & Business Development teams received a walkthrough of the PSDMBP laboratory workflow.

The discussions primarily highlighted analysis methodologies for strategic commodities, such as Rare Earth Elements (REE), Gold, and Silver.

Denni Widhiyatna, the Head of the Mineral, Coal, and Geothermal Research Facilities Team, explained that the PSDMBP Laboratory's technical services are accredited by the National Accreditation Committee (KAN) under accreditation number LP-326-IDN.

As a testing laboratory that consistently implements SNI ISO/IEC 17025:2017, these services include the Preparation unit, the Coal Chemistry Laboratory, the Metallic Mineral Chemistry Laboratory, the Non-Metallic Mineral and Geothermal Chemistry Laboratory, and the Mineral and Coal Physics Laboratory.

“In addition to supporting internal activities, the PSDMBP laboratory also serves external parties through the Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) scheme,” Denni added

For information, the PSDMBP Preparation Laboratory is supported by modern equipment, such as the Isomet High Speed Pro and PetroThin precision cutters, as well as the BB200 Jaw Crusher and Pulverizer to produce representative samples. 

Meanwhile, the Metallic Mineral Chemistry Laboratory provides testing services for base metals, precious metals, and rare earth elements using advanced instrumentation. Sample analysis is conducted using instruments such as the GT-AAS 240Z for gold analysis, the ICP-MS Agilent 7700 for rare earth elements, and Fire Assay for the dissolution of high-grade gold samples.

Bandung – Pusat Sumber Daya Mineral, Batubara, dan Panas Bumi (PSDMBP) menerima kunjungan kerja dari perwakilan PT Perusahaan Mineral Nasional (Persero) atau PT PERMINAS pada Kamis (02/04).

Pertemuan ini difokuskan pada pertukaran informasi teknis mengenai metodologi pengujian dan standarisasi peralatan laboratorium yang digunakan dalam analisis kandungan mineral.

Dalam kunjungan tersebut, perwakilan PT PERMINAS yang terdiri dari Tim Operasi dan Produksi, serta Tim Teknologi dan Pengembangan Bisnis, mendapatkan penjelasan mengenai alur kerja di laboratorium PSDMBP. Fokus utama pembahasan meliputi metodologi analisis untuk komoditas strategis seperti Logam Tanah Jarang (LTJ), Emas, dan Perak.

Ketua Tim Kerja Sarana Penyelidikan Mineral, Batubara, dan Panas Bumi, Denni Widhiyatna, menjelaskan bahwa layanan teknis Laboratorium PSDMBP telah terakreditasi oleh Komite Akreditasi Nasional (KAN) dengan nomor akreditasi LP-326-IDN.

Sebagai laboratorium pengujian yang secara konsisten menerapkan SNI ISO/IEC 17025:2017, layanan ini mencakup unit Preparasi, Laboratorium Kimia Batubara, Laboratorium Kimia Mineral Logam, Laboratorium Kimia Mineral Bukan Logam dan Panas Bumi, dan Laboratorium Fisika Mineral dan Batubara.

“Selain mendukung kegiatan internal, laboratorium PSDMBP juga melayani pihak eksternal melalui skema Penerimaan Negara Bukan Pajak (PNBP),” kata Denni. 

Sebagai informasi, Laboratorium Preparasi PSDMBP didukung peralatan modern seperti mesin potong Isomet High Speed Pro, PetroThin, serta Jaw Crusher BB200 dan Pulverizer untuk menghasilkan sampel yang representatif.

Sementara itu, Laboratorium Kimia Mineral Logam melayani pengujian mulai dari logam dasar, logam mulia, hingga logam tanah jarang menggunakan instrumen canggih. Analisis sampel dilakukan melalui penggunaan instrumen seperti GT-AAS 240Z untuk analisis emas, ICP-MS Agilent 7700 untuk logam tanah jarang, serta Fire Assay untuk pelarutan sampel emas dengan kadar tinggi.
